Years 3 – 6

School Camp Experience

This program is designed for an introduction into a School Camp Experience.

Here the groups will be introduced into a diverse area of learning outcomes from, experiencing the outdoor environment with group challenges and self empowerment. This will inform the students of why the environment is so important and an introduction to team based activities while developing a new awareness of their social surroundings.

Activities can include (suggestions only):

6 Activities from Group A

  • Canoe Instruction
  • Archery
  • Sensory Course
  • Team Rescue
  • Low Ropes
  • Camp Cooking

4 Activities from Group A and Two from Group B

Group A

  • Raft building
  • Score Orienteering
  • Campfire / night walk
  • Bush Survivor.

Group B (Group B Activities to be priced upon program structure)

  • Beach Carnival
  • Bush Camp & Coast walk.

Years 7 – 8

Peak Experience

Activities are varied as we aim to widen the students’ experience. Aims include community building and responsibility for self and others Students are expected to learn throughout the trip and instructors will be facilitating the group on the intended outcomes.

This age group is also invited to begin their Introduction to Expedition. This activity will take them into a new level of outdoor experience while learning responsibilities and encouragement through peer support.

Therefore competence is not the primary aim. These trips are to give a taste of expedition styles and to create enthusiasm within the students for future expeditions.

Activities at this level become more of a peak experience as they provide more personal challenges and build healthy social dynamics.

Years 9 - 10+

Peak Adventure

Peak Adventure is the creation of challenge in a safe environment through experiential activities for groups to solve as a single unit, designed for psychological treatment and education Peak Adventure approaches psychological treatment through experience and action within cooperative games, outdoor pursuits, and wilderness expeditions focusing on groups, families, and individuals. In Peak Adventure there must be a real or perceived psychological and or physical risk generating a level of challenge and awareness.

  • High Ropes Challenge Course
  • Flying Fox
  • Wilderness Expeditions

Group A activities can be incorporated within the program to tailor specific group needs and outcomes.
